Step 7: Make a Test Purchase

Procedure 5.5. Buy as a new customer

  1. Open your site in a private browser window, so you are not logged in.

  2. Open the article. You see the introduction and the invitation, not the members' part.

  3. Click Join now, then Choose Yearly. Paddle's checkout opens.

  4. Enter an email address you can read but have never used on your site, and pay with one of Paddle's test cards.

  5. Paddle shows that the payment worked, and your site shows the Thank you page. It may say We are processing your Access Subscription and it should appear shortly: the webhooks haven't been processed yet.

If your scheduler runs from CRON, wait a minute. Otherwise, in the administrator, run the PaddleSubs - Process webhooks task with Run Test.
