PaddleSubs began as a fork of Akeeba Subscriptions 7, and some of its words and pages will look familiar. A lot has changed, though. Akeeba Subscriptions kept everything about a sale on your site; PaddleSubs leaves the money and the catalog with Paddle and keeps only what your site needs. Subscription levels have become products with prices, and levels now group products instead.

You can bring your Akeeba Subscriptions customers and their purchases over with the import wizard. They keep their accounts, their passwords and the access they paid for. See Chapter 7, Importing From Another Subscription System.
