How it works

From sign-up to your first test sale

Paddle owns the catalogue, the checkout and the money. PaddleSubs keeps a Joomla site in step with it. The demo lets you see both sides.

   Create your account

   Register with your email address, then open the link we email you to activate your account and log in. Already a PaddleSubs customer? Log in with your account.

   Start your demo site

   We make a private Joomla site with PaddleSubs installed and show its links here. It's yours for 2 hours; you can start 3 a day.

   Get a Paddle Sandbox account

   Paddle Sandbox is Paddle's free test environment: separate from live Paddle, with test cards and no real money. You need a sandbox account even if you already sell with Paddle. Once you're in, create an API key and a client-side token under Developer tools > Authentication.

   Open your demo and follow its steps

   Your demo's administrator link logs you straight in. The demo's home page walks you through the rest:

   1. Paste your Paddle Sandbox API key and client-side token into PaddleSubs' Options.
   2. Add a notification destination in Paddle Sandbox for the demo's webhook URL, and paste its secret key into PaddleSubs.
   3. Create a product and a price in PaddleSubs, and see them appear in your Paddle Sandbox catalogue.
   4. Buy it on the demo's Pricing page with the test card 4242 4242 4242 4242.
   5. Watch the purchase become an Access Subscription and open the members-only article.
