Chapter 8. How-to Guides
Short recipes for jobs you will do once you are selling: showing prices and links in articles, protecting and releasing content, discounts, tiers, fixing a customer's access, and making the pages look like the rest of your site.
Show a Price in an Article
With the Content - PaddleSubs Price plugin enabled, type a tag where the price should appear:
| You type | It shows |
|---|---|
{psprice gold-membership} | The product's first one-time price. |
{pspricerecurring gold-membership} | The product's first recurring price, followed by its period, such as “every month”. |
{psprice gold-membership|Yearly} | The price with that name. You can also give the price's PaddleSubs ID or Paddle ID after
the |. |
{psprice pri_01h...} | The price with that Paddle ID, of any product. |
Instead of the slug, you can give the product's ID from the Products page. Prices are shown in the visitor's currency, worked out by Paddle from their location, and before tax. When Show estimated tax is on, two lines under the price add the estimated tax and the total (“+ CA$19.37 estimated tax”, “CA$168.37 in total”). While Paddle answers, the tag shows (loading). A tag that doesn't match a product or price shows nothing.
