About This Book
Who this book is for, how it is organized, the words it uses for Paddle's things and for PaddleSubs' own, and how to read the labels and notes you will find throughout it.
Who This Book Is For
You run a Joomla site and want to sell something on it: a membership, a course, downloads, a service, or software that is licensed per site. You are comfortable creating menu items, articles and user groups in the Joomla administrator. You don't need to have used Paddle before, or to know how payments, tax or webhooks work. This book explains what you need as you go.
A few sections are written for developers: the people who build templates, write software that checks licenses, or connect another service to PaddleSubs. They are marked as such, and you can skip them if you only run the site.
Wherever a technical term can't be avoided, it is explained the first time it appears and again in the Glossary.
