Step 5: Protect the Members' Articles
There are two ways to keep content for members. Use either, or both.
- A whole article or category

Create a
Membersarticle category and set its Access to Gold, and do the same for each article in it. Only members see them, in lists and in search. This is plain Joomla, and works for menu items and modules too. - Part of an article

Leave the article public, and wrap the members' part in the restricted content tags. Everyone can read the introduction; only Gold Membership customers see the rest.
For the second way, make sure the Content - PaddleSubs Restricted plugin is enabled, then write the article like this:

The tags themselves never show. To a visitor without an active Gold Membership, the part between them is simply not there.
