Name
ps_expiration.control — Start and end Access Subscriptions on time
Description
Publishes pending access subscriptions whose window has started and unpublishes those that have ended, granting and removing their products' and levels' user groups. Access Subscriptions you unpublished or trashed are left alone. Before publishing one, and for every one that is active, it asks Paddle whether the payment has been refunded in full or charged back, and ends the access if so. It emails customers when their access starts (for a renewal that was waiting its turn) and when it ends.
It then publishes pending imported Access Subscriptions whose window has opened, giving them their products' groups, and ends imported and granted ones whose window is over and removes their groups, without asking Paddle and without email. That part runs even if Paddle can't be reached, and even while PaddleSubs is offline (Offline Enabled on, or no API key for the current environment), when the task skips everything else.
Last, it deletes what an import left unfinished for 24 hours: uploaded dumps and the temporary tables they were loaded into, which hold the old site's customer data. See the section called “Where the Old Data Is Kept, and When It Is Deleted”.
Schedule
Every 5 to 15 minutes. The more often it runs, the closer to the minute access starts and ends.
Options
