Making a Product Licensed

Set Purchase Type to Licenses per site, then open the License Policy tab. Its defaults suit most products, and the section called “License Policy” describes each setting.

Set Sites per purchase to the number of sites one purchase covers: 1 sells single-site licenses, 3 sells a license for three sites at the price. Every purchase is one unit, so customers who need more sites buy another license.

Save, and enable the Web Services - PaddleSubs plugin so your software can reach the API.
Each purchase is its own license. A customer who buys twice has two licenses, each with its own seats and its own end date. Licensed products don't stack: renewing extends a license instead, as described in the section called “Renewals and Licenses”.
