Content Plugins
Content plugins replace tags you type in articles (and anywhere else Joomla prepares content, such as custom modules with Prepare Content on). Each must be enabled before its tags work; a disabled plugin leaves its tags showing as typed. None has options.
Content - PaddleSubs Link
Replaces {pslink with the full address of a
product's page, using its menu item when there is one, and product}{pslink view=products}
with the address of the products list. Name the product by slug or ID. A product that doesn't exist
gives an empty address. See the section called “Link to a Product Page”.
Content - PaddleSubs Price
Replaces {psprice with the product's first
one-time price, and product}{pspricerecurring with its
first recurring price and period, first in the order set in the product's prices list. Add
product}| to choose a price by name, ID or Paddle ID, or
give a Paddle price ID (pricepri_…) on its own. Prices are filled in by Paddle in the visitor's currency, before tax, with a line
for the estimated tax when Show estimated tax is on. See the section called “Show a Price in an Article”.
Content - PaddleSubs Restricted
Shows the content between {paddlesubs and
condition}{/paddlesubs} only to logged-in users for whom the condition is true. A condition
names products by slug or ID, or * for any, combined with
&& (and), || (or) and ! (not). See
the section called “Show Content Only to Customers”.
If the plugin can't check a condition (the database fails, say), it hides the content rather than show it. Smart Search indexes the content as a visitor who isn't logged in sees it, whoever runs the indexer, so members-only text never appears in search results; feeds leave it out with the help of System - PaddleSubs. While this plugin is disabled, its tags and the content between them show as typed to everyone.
Content - PaddleSubs Timed Release
Shows the content between {pstimedrelease
and product(from,to)}{/pstimedrelease} depending on how many days the customer has had a product
(positive numbers) or has left (negative numbers), and replaces
{asdayselapsed and
product}{asdaysremaining with those numbers. See
the section called “Release Content Over Time”.product}
Like the restricted plugin, it hides the content (and leaves the numbers out) when it can't check them, indexes for Smart Search as a visitor who isn't logged in, and relies on System - PaddleSubs to keep the content out of feeds.
